WAINVAM-E is a young company, located near Lorient in Brittany, specialized in metrology. We are developing new generations of sensors and probes based on the special optic and quantic properties of diamonds with Nitrogen-Vacancy defects.

We use these diamonds at different scales, from the millimeter to the nanometer, as magnetic field sensors and/or fluorescent probes.  The products and services we develop address several issues such as stability, accuracy and accessibility in several domains and in a large variety of applications such as the detection of corrosion and cracks for the nuclear, oil and aeronautics industries, the detection of biomarkers of cancer and infectious diseases for the biomedical, and the detection of allergens and antibiotics for the cosmetics and food industries.
